Full-Time HR Generalist
Job Description
An educational facility is seeking a HR Generalist to support day-to-day Human Resource opportunities. This is a first shift position.
Responsibilities:
- Human Resources, benefits, payroll, and interact with employees at all levels
- Participate as interviewer or screener on hiring committees as requested
- Create and revise job descriptions and maintain data in the HRIS system
- Ensure data is up-to-date and accurate including licensure, compliance, payroll data, training, address updates, document storage, etc.
- Compile and maintain detailed information for school compliance
- Design and generate reports out of the HRIS system, provide employee counseling, and support managers with employee relations issues
- Follow, complete, and update new hire, benefits, termination, etc. checklists accurately and timely and maintain accurate paper and digital files
- Continue efforts to digitalize existing files by regularly scanning and organizing documents
- Monitor performance management system completions including check ins and evaluations giving regular updates to management
- Launch and monitor training system completions giving regular updates to management
- Prepare and distribute employment agreements for students, coaches, after-school and summer School
- Assist with preparation and distribution of faculty and staff agreements, annual coordination of data for school association surveys, and completion of surveys
- Update and maintain the employee handbook in collaboration with the HR Director Primary contact for student work permits
- Assist with opening of the school and perform special projects and other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Must have HR Generalist experience who can support day-to-day activities
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS Systems
- Must be able to handle all phases of the employment cycle, from recruitment to separation
- Must have the ability to manage job openings, post on sites, and maintain connections with colleges, universities, and community organizations
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with facility, staff, administrators, coaches, and students
- Must have strong organizational, problem solving, and technical expertise skills
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking several projects and tasks
- Must be adaptable, flexible, positive, upbeat, professional, highly detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to comply with all policies and requirements

Pay commensurate upon experience
