Temporary Administrative Assistant – Short-term
Job Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to cover for medical leave. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and questions, greet visitors and direct them to correct department, and assist them in using office facilities
- Maintain an organized reception and front office area
- Prepare outgoing mail, sort and distribute incoming mail, Receive and direct deliveries, operate office machinery, and copy and distribute printed materials
- Compose, type, and edit correspondence, reports, memos, spreadsheets, and special projects
- Coordinate and distribute marketing material, maintain office forms and procedures, and file documents
- Manage and maintain office and kitchen supplies, keep kitchen area clean and organized, take trash to outdoor dumpster
- Provide clerical support for all departments as needed
- Perform personal assistant duties as required
Qualifications:
- Must have previous Administrative experience
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite with the willingness to learn and use job related computer programs
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Must have excellent communication, telephone, and customer service skills
- Must be flexible, take initiative, and has good time management skills
- Must be comfortable performing all required duties
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
$18/hr
