Job Description

A large steel company is seeking an individual to perform a variety of duties, as well as, driving a 26′ flat bed automatic truck.   You will operate various machines, paint, measure, bolt, grind, buff, and paint pieces of steel, accurately read a tape measure, load and unload trucks, move material, operate overhead crane and tow motor, and perform basic truck maintenance.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Qualified candidates must have prior shop experience, must be mechanically inclined, must be able to accurately read a tape measure, must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, must have the ability to follow directions, must be safety-conscious, and must be able to get to work on time every day.  Only candidates that can pass a background, BMV check, and drug screen will be considered. Any candidate that has a background working in a steel shop, experience operating overhead crane and tow motors, and has the ability to perform basic truck maintenance are a plus.  

$18 to $22/hr, based on experience
