Job Description

A large steel company is seeking individuals, who can operate overhead cranes, identify and measure pieces of steel, read a tape measure, load and unload trucks, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other duties as needed.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Qualified candidates must be mechanically inclined, must be able to accurately read a tape measure, must have the ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds, must be safety-conscious, and must be able to get to work on time every day.  Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Any candidate that has experience working in a steel shop and operating overhead cranes are a plus.  Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred.  This company offers advancement within the company.  

$18 to $19/hr, based on experience
