Job Description

A local design firm is seeking a Mid to High-level SolidWorks Designer who will be responsible for designing and developing machine components using SolidWorks CAD Software.  This is a temporary assignment for about 6 months, working first shift from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Duties:

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of machine components using SolidWorks
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams
• Create and review engineering drawings and documentation
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance
• Optimize existing designs to enhance performance and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Must have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
• At least 3 years of experience in designing machine components preferred
• Must be able to develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of machine components
• Must be proficient using SolidWorks Software and other CAD Software
• Must have the ability to optimize existing designs to enhance performance and efficiency
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills while paying a high attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills are needed

Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.

$22 to $25/hr, based on experience
