Full-Time Print Estimator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Print Estimator who has a wide range of knowledge in print production operations, estimating, purchasing, and sourcing. This is a full time, first shift position.
Job Duties:
- Provide accurate and timely client estimates for both Wide Format Digital and Screen print jobs
- Calculate costs for various print methods and material, analyze the scope of each project, and perform job costing analysis
- Evaluate all print and fabrication processes while balancing high quality and cost efficiency
- Provide a well-rounded knowledge of finishing equipment capabilities and use Excel to calculate and generate estimates
- Perform other associated duties as needed
Job Qualifications:
- Must have 5 to 7 years working in print production operations, estimating, and purchasing for a printing company
- Must be able to calculate costs for various print methods, materials, labor, kitting, and fabrication
- Must have the ability to analyze the scope of each project and evaluate all print and fabrication processes
- Must be able to determine best run plans based on layouts, equipment capabilities and material sizes
- Must be capable of estimating fulfillment as it related to pack-out and kitting of jobs shipping to multiple locations
- Must have general knowledge of shipping and logistics standards
- Must have strong Excel experience, math, and analytical skills
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with positive team building practices
- Must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
