Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Tool Room Equipment Operator to join their team.  You will work 10 hours Monday through Thursday with overtime as needed.

Duties:

• Operate standard tool room equipment
• Polish and clean die cast tooling and make repair to die casting
• Work from blueprints and drawings and use precision measuring tools
• Make ejector pins, cores, pinions, and clean die cavities and abrasives
• Make gate changes, remove drag, straighten cores, drills, and water lines
• Analyze difficulties and diagnose repairs needed
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Must have 3 years Tool Room experience
• The ability to polish and clean die cast tooling and make repair is required
• Must be able to work from blueprints and drawings
• Must have knowledge of and able to use precision measuring tools
• Must have the ability to analyze difficulties and diagnose repairs needed
• Must have steel toed boots and reliable transportation
• Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues

Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.

$21 to $22.50/hr, based on experience
