Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform receiving and first piece and in-process inspections for work in process.  This is a second shift position.

Job Duties:

• Measure and document part dimensions
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Follow written and oral instructions
• Maintain company quality systems
• Follow all company safety and operations policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have a High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with an ISO9001 quality system preferred
• Accurately use micrometers, digital and dial calipers, height gages, gage pins, protractors, hardness testers, and optical comparators
• Must have a working knowledge of shop mathematics and trigonometry
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications and follow written and oral instructions
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task, and work independently
• Must be motivated to learn and develop within the company
• Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. This company offers benefits upon permanent hire.

$17 to $22/hr, based on experience
