Full-Time Landscaping Crew Leader – 2 needed
Job Description
A company is seeking Landscaping Crew Leaders to achieve daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards. You will report to the building at 7:30 a.m. and a typical day is 8 to 10 hours.
Job Duties:
- Inspect property for safety hazards prior to and upon completion of work
- Keep job site clean and orderly and attend and participate in all safety meetings
- Safely operate all company vehicles, ensure proper PPE and safety equipment, complete safety training prior to operating equipment, and achieve company safety goals
- Plan and oversee all work sequences on site with crew, perform work to standard work guidelines, achieve daily gross margin goals, and provide quality in each task performed
- Communicate with customer to ensure work is completed to their satisfaction and address any issues before leaving
- Accurately complete all production related paperwork on a daily basis
- Review next day’s work, prepare all tools, equipment, and materials needed
- Assist in executing snow services; plowing, shoveling, and salting and follow all snow rules and regulations
- Perform other duties as needed
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Landscape/Maintenance experience
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must be safety-conscious, follow all safety protocols, and ensure proper PPE and safety equipment
- Must have the ability to produce work at or below budget, plan and oversee all work, and achieve daily gross margin goals
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to perform tool and equipment audit on a daily basis and actively participate in all meetings
- Must train assigned team members to company performance standards and complete improvement and training opportunities
- Must be comfortable with frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting 80 pounds or more

$20 to $25/hr, based on experience
