Full-Time Coating Line Operator – Third Shift
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Coating Line Operator to operate the coating line with precision and skill for producing the required number of quality, coated, color sheets for each job. This is a third shift position.
Responsibilities:
- Read each job ticket and follow instructions regarding specifications for each coating
- Perform set-up for blade and stripe coating jobs with the help of the Coater Cutter
- Ensure the colors received from matching are properly mixed and strained before coating
- Produce a sample of each color being coated and check the color match
- Follow all work instructions and procedures for the department
- Properly handle, store, and follow procedures associated with hazardous material/waste, comply with EPA/OSHA Standards, keep drums closed, label hazardous waste containers, and ensure labels are dated correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must have good eyesight
- Must have the ability to follow procedures and comply with standards
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. This company offers excellent benefits upon permanent hire.
$18 to $22/hr, based on experience
