Full-Time Coating Line Operators – First/Third Shifts
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking Coating Line Operators to operate the coating line with precision and skill for producing the required number of quality, coated, color sheets for each job. There are openings on both first and third shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Read each job ticket and follow instructions regarding specifications for each coating
- Perform set-up for blade and stripe coating jobs with the help of the Coater Cutter
- Ensure the colors received from matching are properly mixed and strained before coating
- Produce a sample of each color being coated and check the color match
- Follow all work instructions and procedures for the department
- Properly handle, store, and follow procedures associated with hazardous material/waste, comply with EPA/OSHA Standards, keep drums closed, label hazardous waste containers, and ensure labels are dated correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must have good eyesight
- Must have the ability to follow procedures and comply with standards
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. This company offers excellent benefits upon permanent hire.
$18 to $22/hr, based on experience
