Full-Time Assembly Technicians – 4 Needed
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking Technicians for full-time, long-term opportunities. You will perform diversified mechanical assembly or sub-assembly of units that are moderately complex, requiring adjusting, fitting and aligning to ordinary tolerances. This is a first shift position with overtime available.
Duties:
- Assemble electrical and hydraulic systems, support structures and installs components, units, and electrical panels following specifications using hand and power tools
- Fabricate and form parts and structures according to specifications and inspect and test complete unit
- Meet established production and quality goals
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have the ability to pass entry level welding test or certification
- Must have 1 year of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assembly skills and experience
- Must have the ability to read electrical schematics and perform electrical wiring
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical and hydraulic blueprints and sketches
- Must have basic math skills as well as the ability to use common hand tools and operate assembly machines
- Must be comfortable with frequent sitting, stooping, grasping, handling, reaching
- Must be able to occasional lift, carry, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds and over 70 pounds using cranes or hydraulic lifts
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Any candidate that has welding, quality assurance, and quality control experience is a plus.
