Full-Time Porter/Kitchen Support
Job Description
An educational facility is seeking an individual to operate the dishwasher, wash pots and pans, take out the trash using a golf cart, and assist the food sanitation tech in the kitchen and dining room. You will work first shift from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; however, some evenings and weekends may be required.
Duties:
- Serve lunch on a hot line and help them understand all the choices for lunch with a friendly disposition
- Prepare condiments and replenish condiments for lunch
- Pack lunches for field trips, immersion days, and away sport competitions
- Clean and sanitize food prep areas and setup and clean the lunchroom
- Clean and sanitize dining room tables and serving lines
- Assist with operating the dishwasher and sort silverware
- Check faculty coffee house and restocking coffee condiments
- Simple food preparation which includes basic knife skills
Qualifications:
- Must be proactive and take initiative to get things done
- Must have a passion and positive attitude
- Must have a friendly disposition with the students
- Must be a team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible to work some evenings and weekends when needed
- Must have the ability to show up every day on time

$15/hr
