Full-Time Machine Operator – First/Third Shifts
Job Description
We are seeking Machine Operators to manufacture or modify high quality tight tolerance tooling and/or machined parts to meet company or customer drawing requirements. There is an opening on both first and third shifts.
Job Duties:
- Manufacture or modify tooling and/or machined parts in a manner that is faster and cheaper than can be achieved by using an outside source
- Keep machines and work area clean and organized
- Recommending tools, supplies, and new machinery
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Must have General Machining experience
- Must have a thorough knowledge of manual lathes and mills and stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and other types of materials used
- Must have the ability to setup and use many different types of machines, saws, and equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings; CAD skills preferred
- Must have the ability to duplicate or copy existing product without drawing
- Must be able to make and inspect threads using many types of inspection gauges
- Must possess own hand tools, lift over 50 pounds, able to work well with others, and is comfortable standing for long intervals
- Must be safety-conscious with the ability to follow all company rules and regulations
Only those candidates who can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. This company offers a benefit package upon permanent hire.
$18 to $20/hr, based on experience
