Full-Time Sorting Room Associate
Job Description
A local manufacturing company is seeking an individual to inspect parts. You will work Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Duties:
- Visually look at parts, about 1000 pieces per hour, for chips or burrs
- Learn how to run the vision system to ensure parts are loading correctly and changing boxes when they are full
- Use micrometers to measure parts
- Lift up to 35 pounds and stand for periods of time
Job Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for periods of time
- Must have a good attitude
- Must be a hard-working, self-motivated, and reliable individual
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. Any candidate that can read or learn to read micrometers is a plus. There is the possibility of permanent hire for the right person.
$16 to $18/hr, based on experience
