Full-Time Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse – Second/Third Shifts
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk whose primary responsibility is to act as a support role for efficient warehouse operation. There are openings on both second and third shifts.
Job Duties:
- Pull bar stock for production, cut orders, and load and unload trucks
- Ensure size, material finish, and accuracy of the finish goods and final packaging of material per customer specifications
- Stage material for outbound shipping
- Operate a crane, forklift, or side loader to move material as needed
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections on all required equipment and machine and identify any issues
- Confirm job to customer purchase orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Use computer to research, enter, and print information
Qualifications:
- Must have previous Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse experience
- Must be able to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and side loader
- Must have basic computer skills with the ability to research, enter, and print
- Must be able to correctly follow specification as well as being safety-conscious and detail-oriented
- Must be able to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Must have the physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing and mobility
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
