Full-Time Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
A local company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to fill a first shift position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret a tape measure and shop drawings, understand part specs on shop drawings, and understand difference between a pattern, a mold, and a part
- Check in patterns prior to making molds, perform first article inspection for each new mold put into production, perform random inspection on parts, and check for rejects
- Fit check pieces together and work to ensure correct piece to piece alignment
- Assist with final quality checks on parts after they have been sent through finishing
- Monitor and correct any package issues during crating process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Must have Quality Control Inspection experience
- Must have the ability to understand the difference between a pattern, a mold, and a part
- Must be able to read and interpret a tape measure and show drawings
- Must be comfortable wearing PPE and steel toed boots are recommended
- Must be able to work and communicate with other departments
- Must be dependable with a solid work history
