Full-Time HVAC Technician
Job Description
A large company is seeking a HVAC Operator to perform all operations and repairs on the HVAC equipment to and keep them clean and operational and maintain maintenance logs. You will work Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, you must be flexible to work overtime and odd hours.
Duties:
- Maintain all logs and records of problems and routine operations in the facility
- Be familiar with all locations of shut-off valves, switches, and breakers
- Work with high pressure water, high voltage electricity, and high-pressure gases, work outside in all weather conditions, and use ladders and scaffolding
- Operate emergency power and diesel generator 24 hours a day during main power outages and/or switch gear failures
- Assist in training new Maintenance Operators
- Adhere to all safety related practices and regulations
- Perform all duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have basic HVAC knowledge
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to maintain and update maintenance logs
- Must be comfortable working outdoors during all weather conditions
- Must have the ability to safely utilize ladders and scaffolding
- Must have the ability to abide by all safety related practices and regulations
- Must be a reliable with the ability to work alone or in a team environment
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. A recent HVAC school graduate without experience would be acceptable if they are looking for a career opportunity.
$20/hr
