Job Description

A manufacturing company is offering an immediate position for a Chip Spinner/Piece Runner who will have a variety of daily responsibilities including operating equipment, providing chip removal from production machines, following specific detailed instructions, and working in a safety-oriented manner.   Training will be done on first shift and then you will permanently move to second shift.

Job Duties:

• Collect chips from production machine and place in wheel barrel
• Dump full wheel barrel of chips (steel, stainless, brass or aluminum) into centrifuge container and spin chips to remove oil
• Use floor scrubber on shop floor and empty trash in plant and outside
• Complete the chip spinner task sheet on a daily basis
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Must have the ability to use a floor scrubber
• Must be cooperative and a team player who is self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have excellent work habits including punctuality, attendance, and work ethic
• Must have steel toed boots and with the ability to work in a safety-oriented manner
• Must be able to repetitively bend, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.

$15/hr starting pay
