Full-Time Electrical Assembler – 2 Needed
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking Electrical Assemblers to join their team. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels
- Read and understand panel basic design documents including layout and schematic drawings, legends, Bills of Materials, and pick lists
- Layout sub panels with panel components with assistance and/or direction
- Wire sub panel demonstrating understanding of conductor size, type, and routing requirements
- Perform installation of sub panels into enclosures and mounting of enclosures to stands or frames
- Wire doors and external components, install tags and markings, and create wire labels and other panel ID requirements
- Follow instruction on proper use and care of tools used in assembling control panels
- Learn basic control circuits and industrial network wiring
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have prior electrical assembly experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Must be able to assemble and wire electrical control panels, wire doors, external components, and create wire labels and other panel ID requirements
- Must have the ability to perform installation of sub panels into enclosures and mounting of enclosures
- The ability to learn basic control circuits and industrial network wiring is required
- Must be able to read and understand panel basic design documents including layout and schematic drawings, legends, Bills of Materials, and pick lists
- Must have the ability to use basic hand tools while paying a high attention to detail and being accurate
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have the ability to follow all safety procedures and keep a safe and clean workplace
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
$15 to $24/hr, based on experience
