Full-Time Lead Order Selector
Job Description
A large distribution company is seeking a Lead Order Selector who is skilled in operating a sit-down forklift and has multiple years’ experience in selecting orders. You will select multiple different item numbers, either full pallets of an item or multiple cases of an item and once selected you will combine these items into mixed pallets, which will fill out a full truckload. This is a first shift position from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Qualified candidates must have multiple years’ experience in selecting orders, must be able to operate a sit-down forklift, must have a feel for “building a truckload” with many different items, must have an understanding on how to stack cases to maximize the space on the truck, must be able to pay a high attention to detail, must be safety conscious, must be dependable, and must have a solid work history with no attendance issues. Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
