Job Description

A manufacturing company is offering an immediate, full-time position for a Submerged Arc Welder. Work hours are second shift, from 3:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Job Duties:

• Weld and fabricate with steel and alloy plate
• Perform flux core and/or submerged arc welding
• Use basic shop math
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Utilize saws, shears, burning, press brake machines, plate rolls, and hand plasma torch
• Lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications:

• Must have Flux Core and Submerged Arc welding experience 
• Must have ASME and AWS Welding requirements
• Must be able to weld and fabricate steel and alloy plate
• Must be able to use hand tools, Bug-O Track Welding and Burning Systems, as well as, Press Brake Machines
• Must understand basic shop math
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and welding requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with no problems
• Must be detail-oriented and safety-conscious 

Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. 

$24 to $28/hr, based on experience
