Full-Time Plasma Table Operator – Second Shift
Job Description
A manufacturing company has an opportunity available for a Plasma Table Operator. Hours are second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Operate CNC plasma cutting table to cut steel, stainless steel, and aluminum according to specifications
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds regularly
- Follow job packet instructions precisely, including material type, thickness, and sheet count
- Ensure accuracy and quality of cuts and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the plasma cutting equipment
- Assist with material handling and organization as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines
Job Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in operating CNC plasma cutting equipment
- Knowledge of material types and their properties is needed
- Must have the ability to read and interpret job packets and blueprints
- Must have a mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Must have effective communication and teamwork skills
- Must be physically able to lift and handle materials up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
- Must have a commitment to safety and quality standards while adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines
- Must pass a basic shop math/print test
Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
$18/hr
