Full-Time Restaurant General/Office Manager
Job Description
A local restaurant is seeking a General/Office Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, operations, and lead the way to success. Actual work hours will be determined.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, evaluate, and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective
- Perform daily operations such as taking orders, running the POS system, ingredient prepping, etc.
- Receive truck orders from vendors and communicate with sales representatives
- Ensure products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards and company standards and procedures are being followed
- Prepare and present monthly analyses and reports of operations and finances and resolve customer concerns and incident reports
- Drive sales and profitability through effective execution of the company’s business plan
- Create a positive work environment by fostering teamwork amongst staff through effective training, communication and relationship building
- Help all staff to develop, set example and standards, train, coach, and guide team members while maintaining discipline
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have ServSafe Food Handler Manager Certification
- Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of knowledge related to HR and Office Manager
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Software
- Must have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills while being professional at all times
- Must be able to effectively and productively work with people of very diverse economic and cultural backgrounds
- Must be able to recruit, train, support team members, conduct interviews, and provide feedback
