Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Secondary Machinist to join their team.  Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Run multiple manual machines
• Machining of parts including tapping, drilling, sanding, reaming, filling, punch press, drill press and bridgeport
• Read blueprints, micrometers, and calipers
• Inspection and gaging of parts as needed
• Complete orders to meet efficiency rates
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Three years experience on machines is preferred
• Must be able to read blueprints, micrometers, and calipers
• Must have the ability to perform inspections while being detail-oriented
• Must be able to work fast in order to meet efficiency rates
• Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
• Must have steel toed footwear
• Must have own reliable transportation

Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.  

$19 to $22/hr, based on experience
