Full-Time Shipping/Receiving Technician/CDL Driver
Job Description
We are seeking a Shipping/Receiving Technician/Class B CDL Driver to perform all work in the warehouse pertaining to shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading trucks according to operating measures. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Duties:
- Operate all processes in a safe manner following all rules and regulations
- Load and unload finished goods to customers and trucks for inter-plant shipments
- Drive truck back and forth to warehouse which is approximately 1 mile away
- Ship and received FedEx shipments
- Receive goods as they arrive and pick lot numbers for orders
- Operate industrial vehicles and communicate with truck drivers
- Handle and move finished goods to warehouse or storage and package boxed orders
- Sign documents for shipping and receiving, perform shrink wrap applicant, and apply pallet labels
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Technical school or college is a plus
- 1 to 3 years of Manufacturing environment experience and forklift operation and/or certification is preferred
- Must have a valid Class B CDL License involving driving truck back and forth to warehouse 1 mile away
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Must have a strong work ethic with no attendance issues
Only candidates that can pass a background, BMV check, and drug screen will be considered.
$25/hr temp; $ 30.86/hr perm
